The dachshund is a breed of dog that has evolved through history until the Dachshund result we know today. Its distinctive appearance is due to a genetic mutation known as bassetismo, which gives copies of a very short limbs relative to body size. It is a lively dog, known for their intelligence, resourcefulness and wit. Not very obedient and can be a bit stubborn.

HOW DOES A DACHSHUND LOOKS LIKE?
Its shape is long and low, with a long tail and snout stretched long, floppy ears, short legs and black nails. These short legs are perhaps the most recognizable feature of the breed and to facilitate hunting in burrows.
